PriceWatch - Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

PriceWatch and AliWatch are Chrome browser extensions that allow users to track prices on ecommerce product pages and receive email alerts when prices drop. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why, how it is stored, and your rights.

2. Data we collect

Data type	What it is	Why we collect it
Email address	The email you enter during setup	To send price drop alerts. This is your account identifier.
Product URLs	URLs of pages you choose to track	To enable hourly price monitoring on those pages.
Product titles & prices	Title and price of tracked products	To detect drops and show history in the extension.
Alert threshold	The % drop you configure	To determine when to send an alert.

We do NOT collect browsing history, passwords, payment data, location, or data from pages you have not chosen to track.

3. How data is used

To monitor prices on product pages you have explicitly chosen to track.
To send email alerts when a tracked product drops below your threshold.
To display your tracked products within the extension.

4. Data storage

Data is stored in Supabase (supabase.com), a SOC 2 compliant cloud database in the EU. Data is retained while you have active tracked products. You can delete all data by clicking Log out in Settings.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for marketing. Data is only processed by the services above as necessary to provide the service.

7. Your rights

View tracked products anytime in the Products tab.
Remove individual products with the × button.
Delete all data by clicking Log out in Settings.
EU users have rights under GDPR: access, rectification, erasure and portability.
